The Real Story
At least according to our friends in the Associated Press: On the AP photo wire leaf desk right now, there are 52 pictures of George W. Bush at his inauguration events today, from leaving the house to the swearing-in itself. Many are duplicates.
There are 53 pictures of anti-Bush protesters.
Oh, and no pictures at all of this.
UPDATE: As of 8:22 p.m. (Eastern), the photos that have moved on the AP wire since this post include 12 new pictures of the president and 26 new pictures of the protesters.
UPDATE to the UPDATE: Demonstrator pictures still outnumbering Bush pictures by a good margin, but hey I found a miscellaneous crowd shot and there are clearly a couple of "Protest Warrior" signs among the "W = War" signs. No mention of that in the caption, though.
