Stingray mutilations may be linked to the death of Steve Irwin.
Assuming that the speculations turn out to be facts, which they may not, I can't imagine a more inappropriate way of mourning Irwin's death (by wreaking vengeance on stingrays) or commemorating his life (by collecting the tails or barbs of Stingrays as mementos). How brain-dead would someone have to be to think otherwise?
