Total Eclipse Of Good Sense

[Posted by reader_iam]

Some passengers are suing an airline over Bonnie Tyler's singing.
The passengers, believed to be Belgian, complained to the airline after the Welsh singer performed part of her 1983 hit "Total Eclipse of the Heart" at the request of the co-pilot, who retired after the flight, The Mail on Sunday reported.
...
The complaining passengers reportedly claimed they were traumatized by the experience and had feared for their safety during the celebration. The complaint eventually escalated into a legal dispute. [Emphasis added.]

Oh, I give up. Lawyers and the mentality they have spawned have officially taken over the world.

And now I have that f'in' line--Turn around, bright eyes!--malevolently and relentlessly worming its way through my head, where it will no doubt drive me insane and leave me drooling in a corner somewhere. Cranky, indeed!

Whom do I get to sue? Hat tip.

Update: Would you believe I had to go to iTunes, buy the damn [7-minute-long] song, and listen to it three times to exorcise that worm from my mind?!?

OK, maybe those passengers have a point about being traumatized. Where's my lawyer?
