Idle Questions

Is there any point at all to blogging any topic other than election-related ones for at least the next two days? For that matter, is there any point in blogging on a political topic that doesn't involve polls? And endless speculation about what the polling results mean, why they're contradictory and changeable, and what it all means?

I would suggest a poll, except we're already awash in them.
