In this case, don't SHOW me, or DEMONSTRATE it: Tell, describe and explain your criteria for the concept in words you can live with if applied to others--all others.
And--please!--do it with reference to the point of view of yourself, and NOT as against what you think defines the beliefs of others, as regards themselves or otherwise.

Later: I assume that everyone reading this knows that whatever standard you apply, it first applies to you: in spades (if violated) and in direct proportion to your judgment of others.
