Here are the Watchers Council winners for the week of May 18.
First place in the council went to Cheney's Chess Moves in the Middle East by Joshuapundit.
Votes also went to Positive Thinking Vs. The Greenies by Cheat Seeking Missiles, my You Asked for It piece on oil-for-food, We Found the "Moslem Methodists!" by Big Lizards, and the elegy Gone Across Peterson by The Glittering Eye, which, though as a former electric company meter reader I am very much NOT a dog person, I found moving and beautiful. I recommend it to all my canine-loving readers.
Outside the council, the winner was Don't Bury Your Heads in the Sand at Iraq the Model.
