Look for a big AP piece tomorrow based on census data breaking down the racial composition of America, county by county. Among the rich coincidences: The whites county in America has a name that also is a crude slur on Asians (Slope County, N.D., 99.3% white). And one of the five least white counties in America is named for Wade Hampton, who at one time was the largest slaveowner in the South. It is in, of all places, Alaska.
