Think there's something odd about this picture?
I'm pulling double duty right now on the copy desk of the newspaper where I work. Because another copy editor who is working tonight is not at his desk, because he's outside on the town square, taking part in a large anti-war, anti-Bush protest. Which is being covered by a reporter for this newspaper who also attends anti-war anti-Bush protests when she's not on the clock. Who will come back in here and write that story. Which, according to the assignment board I'm looking at right now will be edited and headlined by the copy editor who is out there among the protesters.
And I'm the one who's threatened with being fired, because my blogging compromises the integrity of journalism?
