Rights
I'm beginning to feel like I ought to publish something like this about once a week:
Americans are full of anxiety about our rights. In most cases, we now have a greater number of defined and explicit rights than any Americans ever had in history. Don't believe me; go look it up. But we have less sovereignty. And the federal government has more. And that's the problem.
Because every time you go ask the government to give you something, even if you get it, we the people have less sovereignty than we had and the leadership has more.
