Pray Less, Think More
This is biased reporting, but frankly, I don't mind. The story is about the knucklehead who got viciously drunk, then drove the wrong way on an Ohio highway till he smacked a minivan head-on and erased most of a family.
The reporter could have stacked it up in one way or another, and included or left out the non-essential stuff. Instead, once he's dispensed with the lede material, he recounts the killer's family's shock and helpless dismay and "we never saw it coming" reaction and juxtaposes it with the plain suggestion of a long record of reckless knuckleheadism in this fool's life. Stevie Wonder could have seen it coming.

Lawyer Rick Sanders, representing the family, described Gagnon as distraught. "He couldn't believe this had happened," Sanders said.
Sanders said Gagnon's relatives wanted to say that their thoughts and prayers were with the victims of the crash and their family.
"They don't know what happened," Sanders said. "They're understandably upset. They're good people."
Gagnon's driver's license has been suspended multiple times after he failed to provide proof of insurance or registration, and he has had two speeding tickets since 2002, according to the Michigan secretary of state's office.
