Another Red Flag

I understand how tempting and exciting the Able Danger revelations can be. But tread cautiously there. I used to be an editorial page editor in a district served by Curt Weldon, the Congressman behind the revelations. I like Curt. I've endorsed him. He's a good man who does a decent job representing his blue-collar district. And he's educated himself since he rose from small-city fire chief and mayor to the corridors of national power. But he's not necessarily the cool head and unimpeachable authority you want to stake your reputation on in matters of James Bond intrigue.
