Since finally our media keepers have decided it's news. In the past, I've found this blog useful for keeping track of things.
And keep this map of oil concessions in Sudan in mind as you follow the news. Note the names of the nations interested in currying favor with the Sudanese government: Canada, Malaysia, Qatar, China, Sweden, Austria, France/Belgium (that's "TotalFinaElf" -- now simply "Total"). Pay attention to their votes in the U.N. and their official positions.
