AP Finally Notices

The Associated Press finally recognizes an American soldier who was a hero in Iraq. Hard to believe, isn't it! They even wrote a story about Navy SEAL Michael A. Monsoor, who saved the lives of his American and Iraqi fellow-warriors by throwing his body on a live grenade during an assignment in Ramadi.
Now let's see how many newspapers pick up the story tomorrow. I know mine will, because I happen to be in a position today to make sure there's room for it. But the AP makes it easy to ignore this story by not moving a photograph to go with it. Which is pretty amazing, since AP dutifully runs at least one picture of every single U.S. casualty in Iraq. Maybe they should ask Michael Fumento, who not only has photos of Monsoor, he has been telling his story loud and clear long before the Big Boys deigned to nod at it.
