Ahmadinejad, Outstanding Figure

[Posted by reader_iam]

Iran's president wins a Russian newspaper's "2006 'Speech to the Nation' prize" for a "letter" he wrote President Bush (presumably, this one).
The prize has been awarded annually by the daily to political and cultural figures of Russia and foreign states since 1992 who have been outstanding news subjects.

So far, 102 outstanding figures, including Cuban President Fidel Castro and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, have received the prize.
Good company, that. What an honor. Hoo, boy!
