McKinley's Folly

Another argument for Puerto Rican independence. Can anyone give me a good reason why we continue to suffer this island colony? That's so 1898. Am I missing something? Turn it loose. Let them use their tax dollars at home, make their own decisions about language -- get free oil from Chavez, if they want it. And let their citizens queue up for immigration here like everyone else.
