Oriana Fallaci has died. Brave woman. "Rest in peace?" Doesn't seem right in this case. "May you continue to raise hell from beyond the grave."

UPDATE: The obituaries presumably were in the can months ago, since her fatal cancer was no secret. Still, the tone of some of them puzzles me: "Oriana Fallaci, war reporter turned scourge of Islam." As though that were some swerve in her career, not the natural post-2001 expression of her ferocious fearlessness.
