Go Middle East, Not Young Woman

I just have to say something, because it's been bothering me for days. I have an opportunity to travel to Israel/the Occupied Territories this coming December. I haven't decided yet.
But if I do, I will have all sorts of things with me; for example: laptop, serious digital camera, best phone technology I can manage/afford, certain medications, and scarves.
How would your list differ?
(So you know: I don't plan on making any sort of comment or statement on behalf of anyone other than myself. Just so you know. You know, if I decide to go.)
