I have no problem disagreeing with James Baker, as part of the team that created the mess that we confronted in Iraq in 2003, over any number of things. Including flirtation with Syria and Iran as a form of realpolitik, even with the conditions he imposes. That's so Cold War.
And I wonder why this line from the report wasn't too obvious to require statement:
