In this week's Great Moments in Journalism poll at Gawker.
This one wasn't even close for me. If you go over there and pick something other than Sheryl Gay Stolberg's sentence regarding Lincoln in her Dec. 25 White House Memo for the NYT, you gotta come back over here and do some 'splainin'.
I feel for Stolberg, I really do, and this really is a very little thing. But as a former newspaper journalist (and current contract editor), this made me laugh out loud--ruefully, to be sure, but nonetheless heartily.
But for the Grace of God, and all of that.
